Hybrid green village system consists of providing energy to each hybrid green homes through solar & wind generation. With the rest of the provided energy, it will produce, compress and store the hydrogen. Provide the stored hydrogen to the fuel cell to generate the power to hybrid green homes when having difficulties on providing the new renewable energy to each houses.

Concept of Hybrid Green Village

Green village is a kind of Energy Independence (carbon free) Village, that only use natural energy sources such as solar, wind or geothermal. Energy consumption of the village is minimized by insulation, sun light, and other sources are combined with technology in zero carbon emission.

  • Concept of energy conversion and circulation
  • Water is electrolyzed by the electricity obtained from the solar energy or wind power generation to produce hydrogen.
    The hydrogen is then compressed and stored however, the stored hydrogen is converted to electricity through a fuel cell.
    The energy circulates from solar energy, electricity and hydrogen then electricity.
    This process has a concept that the energy can be used in exact form of energy when needed.

The green villages constructed with solar energy are in Buyeo-gun in Chungnam Province, Palyong-dong in Changwon City, and Shinhyocheon town.
